The London Car show started on Wednesday June 23rd, 2010 with the driving school at Mid Ohio Race Course where both beginners and experienced owners took to the track.
On Thursday June 24th, 2010 a lot of owners started showing up for registration as this was the official start to the London Car show for 2010. On Friday 25, 2010 several Superformance owners cruised Ohio while others participated in an autocross event and later met at the Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant for a mini car show. Next the festivities included a tent with live music and a number of silent auction items were on display.
On Saturday the Superformance rig was in place at the end of the parade route. From the top deck of our rig we perused the parade. It is quite a site to see approximately 200 cobras in a row driving proudly through the town of London. In the Superformance vendor area we were joined by dealers Dynaformance, Time Machines and the Eric a Superformance installer located in OH. We had a large display of cars which included a Superformance MKIII R which had been supercharged , a New Superformance MKIII component roller in Indigo Blue with Titanium stripes a beautifully prepared Jet Black Superformance MKIII that had been fitted with a Dynaformance Fuel Injection system, a new Monza Red Superformance MKIII component roller and the GT40 built to commemorate the Ken Miles MarkII GT40 of 1966 fame. We also had a 289 FIA Car and a Shelby CSX 4000.
Todd Andrews, Vice President of Superformance attended the show and had the opportunity to meet a lot of Superformance owners including Bill, Juan, Samuel and Craig. Our owners do such a wonderful job of promoting our products and the results were evident at this show where owners proudly displayed and talked incessantly about their Superformance cars. A number of owners visited our display and toured our new rig which will be attending car shows located in the Mid and Eastern USA States. Later that evening there was a live auction and a guest speaker.
To soon all the excitement was over and after a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning many headed home ending another great London Car Show event.
